Laurel Donnenwirth

Assistant Director & Coach

Coach Laurel (aka "Lo") grew up in Sacramento, California where she attended El Camino High School and was a duel sport athlete, playing both basketball and softball.

At the conclusion of her high school career, Laurel was recruited to play for the Women's Basketball Team at Menlo College. During her time at Menlo, she helped the Oaks win four straight Cal Pac regular-season titles — going undefeated three times — while never missing the NAIA national tournament.

During her career at Menlo, Laurel received various accolades including Cal Pack Defender of the Year in her sophomore and junior seasons, Cal Pac Player of the year in her senior season, as well honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and a second-team All-American by the NAIA. Concluding her senior season, Laurel was ranked fifth in the nation with 18 double-doubles. Her name is etched all over the Oaks’ record book, ranking second in points (1,593) and first in rebounds (1,166) and top 10 in 13 other career categories.

Laurel graduated from Menlo College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Since graduation, Laurel has always stayed closely connected to the basketball world, through coaching, private training, and even competing herself within various adults leagues and tournaments all over the Bay Area.

She is excited to be apart of the OGenius International Basketball brand and everything it has to offer the aspiring basketball players in area.
